Lots of progress

The last two weeks have been very productive at the Washington Street house...

First, Trevor laid the tile for the bathroom floors. We opted for a pattern that combined beige and gray tones to blend with our paint. Then Trevor had a great idea – and we loved it. Why not add a strip of decorative tile around the vanity in the master bath? Perfecto! We plan to do a coordinating strip around the bathtub in the hall bathroom.

Meanwhile, Bob was finishing up the window installation. We decided to install the same size of windows in all of the openings to make it easier to select window treatments later. That necessitated a bit of sheetrock and texturing on the inside and some new siding on the outside – but the final result has been worth it. I even helped put on some of the trim!
